Dheerendra Santhosh Jagarlapudi is the writer and director of the 2021 Indian Telugu-language sports drama film Lakshya (transl. Target). Northstar Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Cinemas are the producers. Naga Shaurya, Jagapathi Babu, Ketika Sharma, and Sachin Khedekar are among the film's stars. The movie came out on December 10, 2021.

Plot

Since he was little, Pardhu has been a talented archer. Upon noticing that, his grandfather decides to enroll him in the top archery institution in Hyderabad, using all of his riches. Pardhu's outstanding performance makes him the state champion with ease. With Rithika, he falls in love. The unexpected death of his grandfather depresses Pardhu, who then develops a drug addiction. After a while, he comes to realize that someone is plotting his demise and getting him started on drugs through his buddies. He loses consciousness after they break his hand in a battle that follows. Though he arrives at the stadium in time to play in the finals, he passes out.  Rumors of doping in sports cause him to be suspended, and Rithika ends their relationship when he pushes her father to the 

Pardhu becomes an alcoholic after losing everything and everyone he holds dear, but his father's friend Parthasaradhi enters his life and gives him the willpower to keep going. Pardhu puts in a lot of training in the hopes that one day his right hand will function. He makes amends with Rithika and gets ready for the World Championships. When he finds out that his right hand will never fully recover, he is astonished. However, Parthasarathy notes that he needs to educate his mind to deal with the fact that his left hand is equally skilled at archery. Pardhu wins over the board and enters the finals of the competition. At last, he achieves a medal, realizing his grandfather's ambition.
