Chugong is the author of Solo Leveling, a South Korean web book that is also alternately translated as Only I Level Up (Korean: 나 혼자만 레벨업; RR: Na Honjaman Rebeleop). Starting on July 25, 2016, it was serialized on Kakao's digital comic and fiction platform, KakaoPage. Later, on November 4, 2016, D&C Media published it under the Papyrus label. Yen Press has granted an English license for the novel.

Plot
In a world where humans with special talents known as hunters must fight deadly creatures to save humanity from probable extinction, Sung Jinwoo, a famously weak hunter, finds himself in an apparently never-ending battle for survival. One day, after barely escaping a monstrously strong double dungeon that almost destroys his entire group, he is selected as the only player in a secret program known as the System, which bestows upon him the extraordinary power to level up his strength.
Something that no other hunter can accomplish because, once they awaken, a hunter's skills are established. A deeper power to transform anybody he kills into a devoted minion known as a Shadow is also unlocked. Jinwoo then embarks on a quest to learn the truth about the origins of his talents and the mysteries of the dungeons, facing out against a variety of human and monster foes.
